How does an agency know that we will continue to be compliant? We recommend that all agencies that have contractors using our service request a copy of a payslip at random. This will illustrate the contractor's contributions to the Inland Revenue for tax and NI.
How does an agency know we have the appropriate insurance? We will supply a copy of our insurance certificate upon request and will encourage you to call our insurance broker, who will be happy to confirm our cover.

At this moment in time, if any of the contractors on your payroll are found to have underpaid their tax or NICs, HM Revenue & Customs can approach you directly for details of the other contractors on your books. HRMC can even delve into records going back six years.
